Gader (Gadeer) Serhan
Biography
Gader studied Bachelor of Oral Health at The University of Sydney and has treated patients of all ages in a range of public and private dental settings. She has been involved in the implementation of public oral health programs in pre-schools and aged care facilities in South-West Sydney and primary schools along the Central Coast. Gader has also provided dental treatment for disadvantaged and rural communities on the island of Efate, Vanuatu. Throughout her time at the University, she was the recipient of three honours – The New Colombo Plan Scholarship by the Federal Government, The Vice Chancellor’s Global Mobility Scholarship by the Sydney Dental School and a Humanitarian Affairs Peace Ambassador by Humanitarian Affairs Asia & The United Nations in Thailand. She speaks English and Arabic.
Gader has great enthusiasm and dedication to the dental profession and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry – including treating both adults and children. She is pursuing her studies in dentistry, while also attending regular conferences to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry.
Outside of Dentistry, Gader likes to spend time with her family, cooking and caring for her cat, Leo.
