Biography

Dr Suganthy Baheerathan, a 1997 dental graduate from the University of Melbourne. Above all, has over 20 years of experience in general dentistry. She has undertaken post-graduate training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Early Intervention Orthodontics, Invisalign, Implants, and Endodontics. Dr.Suganthy commits to ongoing professional development to apply the latest dental techniques to the treatment of her patients.

She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in pediatric, cosmetic dentistry, early intervention Orthodontics. She is passionate about identifying and correcting airway issues in children and on early intervention treatment to resolve teeth crowding. Her interest in airways extends to adults in treating sleep-related issues, diet, and nutrition. She helps people breathe and sleep easier.

Suganthy is passionate about helping patients feel good with their smiles and oral health and certainly believes this can often be achieved through minimally invasive techniques and by “prevention rather than cure”.

She takes great care in providing comprehensive dental examination for each patient and ensuring her patients understand the treatment they receive. She takes pride in treating anxious patients and overcoming their fears and anxiety with her gentle caring manner.

Her proudest achievement of all is being mother to three beautiful girls. Her interests include travelling, and spending time with her family.
